Ce mardi 7 janvier 2020, l’Université de Strasbourg a annoncé les lauréats du programme de développement d’Instituts thématiques interdisciplinaires (ITI) recherche-formation : 15 ITI ont été retenus.
Michel Deneken, président de l’Université de Strasbourg, a annoncé ce mardi 7 janvier 2020 les Instituts thématiques interdisciplinaires (ITI) retenus à l'issue du comité de sélection, en présence d’Antoine Petit, président-directeur général du CNRS, et de Gilles Bloch, président-directeur général de l’Inserm.

A travers la création des ITI, l’Université de Strasbourg, en partenariat avec le CNRS et l’Inserm, conforte une politique à long terme en soutien à l’interdisciplinarité et au renforcement du lien formation par la recherche.
Les 15 projets suivants sont labellisés Instituts Thématiques Interdisciplinaires :

- G-Eau-Te - Interdisciplinary Institute for Geosciences for the Energy system transition: Exploiting Deep Groundwater
- Health Tech - Interdisciplinary Institute for Information Sciences and Technology for Healthcare
- HiSAAR - Interdisciplinary Institute for History, Sociology, Archaeology and Anthropology of Religions
- IMCBio - Interdisciplinary Institute for Integrative Molecular and Cellular Biology
- IMS - The Strasbourg Interdisciplinary Drug Discovery and Development Institute
- IRMIA++ - Interdisciplinary institute for Research in Mathematics, Interactions and Applications
- LETHICA - Interdisciplinary institute for Ethics, Literature and Arts
- MAKErS - Interdisciplinary institute for MAKing European Society
- QMat - Interdisciplinary institute for Quantum science and nanomaterials
- TRANSPLANTEX NG - Strasbourg interdisciplinary institute for Precision Medicine
Labellisation pour une période probatoire de 4 ans (2021-2024) :
- GRIAMI - Interdisciplinary institute for the Musical and Interartistic Act
- HiFunMat - Interdisciplinary institute for Hierarchical and Functional Materials
- InBio - Interdisciplinary Institute for Integrative biopharmaceutical and biomedical research
- NeuroStra - Interdisciplinary institute for The nervous system facing environmental issues: from adaptation to pathologies
Par ailleurs, le Comité a décidé d’apporter un soutien spécifique pendant 4 ans aux deux projets suivants dans le cadre d’un accompagnement à l’effort de structuration :
- ILC : Fédération de recherche Université de Strasbourg “Institute of Language and Communication”
- ISY : Fédération de recherche Université de Strasbourg “Institute for SustainabilitY - Interdisciplinary Research, Education and Transfer for Sustainable Socio-Ecosystems"
